Key Aspects of the Ministry

• Welcoming Presence: Ministers (greeters/ushers) are the first point of contact, aiming to make parishioners and visitors feel at home.
• Active Evangelization: They are seen as ministers of evangelism, removing barriers that prevent people from experiencing God's love.
• Liturgical Role: They assist in the flow of the Mass by guiding seating, helping with the collection, coordinating the presentation of gifts, and assisting during communion.
• A Focus on All: They attend to the needs of the community, particularly those with disabilities or special needs.                                                       

Core Functions 

• Greeting: Enthusiastically welcoming people at the doors before Mass.
• Seating: Assisting with finding seats, particularly for latecomers to minimize disruptions.
• Offertory: Collecting the offerings of the community and coordinating with families to bring up the gifts.
• Distribution: Distributing bulletins or informational materials after Mass.

• Joyful Demeanor: Reflecting the joy of encountering God.
• Attentiveness: Being physically and emotionally present to assist others.
• Reverence: Maintaining a neat, polite appearance and a reverent demeanor during the liturgy.
